Welcome to Chapter 2 of our journey
Chapter 2 Dance Academy was created from a shared vision: to build a place where dancers can grow, challenge themselves and truly enjoy their journey.
Built on years of experience, high standards and a strong sense of community, Chapter 2 brings together quality training with the belief that every dancer should have the opportunity to discover what they’re capable of.
We’re proud of the foundations we’ve built, but we’re even more excited about what comes next.
Chapter 2 is a new beginning — with bigger ambitions, new opportunities and an exciting future for our dancers.

Amy & Ellie
Brought together through the world of dance, our journey began with a student-teacher connection that grew into a strong professional partnership and a genuine friendship. Over the years, our collaboration has gone from strength to strength - helping to build a strong sense of community both within the academy and behind the scenes.
With a combined 43 years in dance and 17 years of teaching, we’ve built a thriving, award-winning academy rooted in high standards, ambition and opportunity. As our experience grew, so did our vision. After years of teaching, developing and building together, we knew it was time to create something that truly reflected what we believe in - and, most importantly, provide even more opportunities for our students.
And so, Chapter 2 Dance Academy was born.
A new chapter built on experience, driven by passion, and created with our dancers at the heart of it.
Meet our team
Our teachers and collective team are the backbone to C2. By working as a team to promote the confidence and independence of our students throughout the C2 Team, we lead the next generation of creative, expressive, versatile and adaptable young people!
C2 Founder A.I.S.T.D
Amy-Leigh Gardner
Amy began teaching in 2014 and has since become a highly accomplished and respected professional in the world of dance and acrobatics. In 2022, she was awarded the prestigious ISTD Jean Cantrell Bursary Award for Outstanding Juvenile Teacher. Amy has also lectured at the ISTD Dance Exchange and has trained more than 20 National Champions, alongside nearly 100 National Finalists across a variety of dance styles and events.

Ellie Linton
Ellie is an enthusiastic and passionate teacher, dedicated to helping every C2 dancer grow in both confidence and ability. Having trained as one of Amy’s students, Ellie completed examinations, performed in showcases, and competed throughout her dance journey.
In 2022, she began her teaching career and later went on to achieve her ISTD Teaching Qualification. Drawing on her experience as both a teacher and former student, Ellie is committed to inspiring, encouraging, and supporting the next generation of dancers.
C2 Assistant
Dawn Sellers
Dawn, also known as 'Dawnie', has over 30 years of experience in the dance world. Her daughters started dancing at the age of 3, and she has been involved in our school’s journey from the beginning.
Dawn helps with shows, competitions, fundraising events, and some classes. She knows where to find good deals on competition costumes and is known for her attention to sleek class hair buns and correct uniforms. Dawn also has 10 years of experience working with early years and has a full DBS check. Her expertise and dedication greatly contribute to the success of C2 Dance.
